Biography
Elysa Koplovitz Dutton is a film producer and production executive. She has worked as a producer on films including Idiocracy (2006), Everything, Everything (2017), The Sun Is Also a Star (2019), Work It (2020), Purple Hearts (2022), You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023) and Tarot (2024).
She graduated from Brown University with a BA in Art/Semiotics and, while there, co-created and produced the student television soap opera Sob Story. Her early career included executive roles at MTV Films, where she oversaw development, and at Twentieth Century Fox; she later served as an in-house producer for HBO Films. In 2013 she joined Alloy Entertainment to lead its feature film division and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Theatrical Film Production in 2024.
Dutton is also the author of the children's book Christmas Forever: Escape to the North Pole, published in 2024.
