Biography
Emilie Lesclaux is a French film producer. Born on 12 September 1979 in Bordeaux, she has lived in Recife, Brazil, since 2002.
She co-founded the CinemaScópio production company with her husband, filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho, whom she married in 2007. Their collaborations include the feature films Neighboring Sounds (2012), Aquarius (2016), Bacurau (2019), Pictures of Ghosts (2023) and The Secret Agent (2025). She has also produced Sleep with Your Eyes Open (2024), directed by Nele Wohlatz.
Lesclaux was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture for The Secret Agent. She received the title of honorary citizen of Recife in 2016.
