Biography
Emily VanCamp is a Canadian actress. She trained as a ballet dancer at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec before moving into acting.
She first came to prominence as a series regular in the WB drama Everwood (2002–2006) and the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters (2007–2010). VanCamp gained further recognition for her lead role as Emily Thorne in the ABC series Revenge (2011–2015). She plays Sharon Carter / Agent 13 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in the films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016), as well as the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). She also starred as Nicolette Nevin in the Fox medical drama The Resident (2018–2021).
