Biography
Emma Cunniffe is an English actress working in film, television and theatre. She was born on 3 July 1973 in Chester and raised in Frodsham, Cheshire. She trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Her television credits include Doctor Who (2011), Agatha Christie's Poirot (2009) as Carol Boynton, Midsomer Murders, Father Brown, Lewis, Cracker (1994) and Silent Witness. Film roles include Their Finest (2017), Miss Marx (2020) as Laura Marx and H Is for Hawk (2025) as Mandy. On stage she won the UK Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Hilda in The Master Builder and played the title role in the RSC production of Queen Anne (2015), which transferred to the West End.
Cunniffe is married to actor Rufus Jones.
