Biography
Emma Fryer is a British costume designer. She began her career in the early 1990s making jewellery and headdresses for film, later working at the Royal Opera House in London. Her first major film credit was as costume buyer on Shakespeare in Love (1998).
She has worked on both period and contemporary productions. Fryer received a BAFTA TV Award nomination for costume design on the 2007 television film Fear of Fanny. Her credits include A Field in England (2013), Free Fire (2016), The Hustle (2019), the series The Great (2020), Lady Chatterley's Lover (2022), The Great Escaper (2023) and Starve Acre (2024).
