Biography
Enrique Castillo is an American actor, writer, director and producer. Born on 10 December 1949 in Calexico, California, he began his career in the early 1970s and appeared in the 1978 stage production of Zoot Suit.
He was a founding member of the Latino Theater Company and co-wrote its plays Stone Wedding and August 29. In 1997 he founded the production company Four Brown Hats Entertainment, with which he adapted and directed The Last Angry Brown Hat and wrote and directed the theatre piece Veteranos: A Legacy of Valor.
Castillo is known for roles including Jorge in El Norte (1983), Montana in Blood In Blood Out (1993), the Hispanic Colonel in Mars Attacks! (1996) and Cesar de la Cruz in Weeds (2005–2012). He has also appeared in Déjà Vu (2006), Bound by Honor (1993) and episodes of NCIS.
