Biography
Eric Gilliland was an American television writer and producer. He was born on 28 March 1962 in Glenview, Illinois, and graduated from the School of Communication at Northwestern University in 1984.
Gilliland began his career as a writer and story editor on Who's the Boss? (1988–89). He wrote for The Wonder Years (1990–91) and served as a writer and producer on Roseanne (1992–96), receiving a Writers Guild of America Award nomination. He later worked as a writer and consulting producer on That '70s Show (1998–99) and other series including My Boys. He died on 1 September 2024.
