Biography
Eric Koenig is an American animation director and artist. He has worked extensively in the animation department on The Simpsons (1989), initially as a character layout artist on The Simpsons Movie (2007) and numerous episodes of the series, later contributing as a storyboard artist and animatic layout artist.
Koenig advanced to directing roles on the series, including couch gags and two episodes broadcast in 2024 and 2025. He has also directed nine episodes of the animated series HouseBroken (2021–2023). He is sometimes credited as Erik Koenig or Panama K.
