Biography
Erica Hayes is an animation director and storyboard artist. She began working on Rick and Morty as a storyboard revisionist in its first season and advanced through the ranks to become the series' first female director in Season 4.
Hayes has directed episodes of Rick and Morty (2019–2021), Carol & the End of the World (2023) and Fairfax (2021–2022). She served as supervising director on Haunted Hotel (2025). She holds a B.F.A. in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
