Biography
Dan Guterman is a television writer and producer. He wrote for the satirical website The Onion from 1999 to 2010 and contributed to The Colbert Report (2010–2014).
Guterman joined the writing staff of Community for its fifth and sixth seasons (2014–2015), serving as executive story editor and writer on episodes including "Bondage and Beta Male Sexuality" and "Basic RV Repair and Palmistry". He has also written for Rick and Morty (2015–2017) and created the animated miniseries Carol & the End of the World (2023). He received Emmy Awards for his work on The Colbert Report and Rick and Morty, and an Annie Award for co-writing the Rick and Morty episode "The Ricklantis Mixup".
