Biography
Erik Nelson is an American documentary filmmaker and television producer. He produced Werner Herzog’s Grizzly Man (2005) and collaborated with the director on further projects including Encounters at the End of the World (2007), Into the Abyss (2011) and Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010).
As a director, Nelson’s credits include Dreams with Sharp Teeth (2008), Dinotasia (2012), A Gray State (2017, executive produced by Herzog) and The Cold Blue (2018). He founded the production company Creative Differences and has worked extensively in television documentary and series production.
