Biography
Erika Sheffer is a playwright and screenwriter. Her stage work includes the plays Russian Transport, which premiered at The New Group and was produced at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and Vladimir, which received its world premiere at Manhattan Theatre Club. She has received the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award, multiple TCG Edgerton Grants and an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination.
Her screen credits include the teleplay for an episode of the Apple TV+ anthology series Little America (2022) and writing contributions, as well as executive story editor duties, on the Netflix limited series The Beast in Me (2025). The latter earned her a Writers Guild of America nomination for Limited Series.
