Biography
Eva Kolodner is an American film producer. She began her career in independent cinema as an assistant at Christine Vachon's Killer Films, working on titles including Kids (1995), I Shot Andy Warhol (1996), Safe (1995) and Happiness (1998).
Kolodner produced Boys Don't Cry (1999), directed by Kimberly Peirce. She later served as head of production at Madstone Films and co-founded the New York production company Salty Features in 2003 with Yael Melamede. Among her subsequent credits are Rhinoceros Eyes (2003), Evergreen (2004), Bam Bam and Celeste (2005), The Inner Life of Martin Frost (2007), Afterwards (2008) and Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009). She left film production in 2009 to work in fundraising for nonprofits.
Kolodner was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature (Producer) and was named to Crain's New York Business '40 Under 40' list in 2002. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Yale University.
