Biography
Evald Andersson was a Swedish sound technician and occasional composer. Born Knut Evald Andersson in Enköping, he worked primarily in sound effects, editing and mixing for feature films between 1953 and 1968.
He contributed to numerous Ingmar Bergman productions, including sound effects on The Seventh Seal (1957), The Virgin Spring (1960), Persona (1966) and Shame (1968), and served as sound editor on Winter Light (1963), for which he is also credited with the original music.
