Biography
Evan Handler is an American actor born on 10 January 1961 in New York City. He began his career in theatre, appearing in Broadway productions including Six Degrees of Separation and I Hate Hamlet.
He is best known for his role as Harry Goldenblatt in the HBO series Sex and the City (2002–2004) and its films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), and as Charlie Runkle in Californication (2007–2014). Handler played Hal Prince in the FX miniseries Fosse/Verdon (2019) and has appeared in series such as And Just Like That... (2021–2025), Power (2019–2020) and Lost (2004). He has also written two memoirs.
