Biography
Fay Helm was an American film actress. Born in Bakersfield, California, she studied drama at the University of Oregon and appeared in productions at the Portland Civic Theatre and Bakersfield Community Theatre before moving to Hollywood in 1936.
She appeared in around 65 films between 1936 and 1946, often in supporting roles. Helm is known for her performances in The Wolf Man (1941) as Jenny Williams, Phantom Lady (1944) as Ann Terry, Night Monster (1942) as Margaret Ingston, and Dark Victory (1939).
She retired from acting in 1946. Helm died in Santa Monica, California, in 2003.
