Biography
Felix Solis is an American actor, film director, film producer and stage director. Born on 17 September 1971 in New York City to Puerto Rican parents, he identifies as Nuyorican. He trained at Marymount Manhattan College and began his career in New York theatre and television, appearing in series such as New York Undercover, NYPD Blue and Third Watch.
Solis has recurring or main roles in television dramas including The Sopranos, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Fringe, Mindhunter, Ozark (as Omar Navarro), The Rookie (as Matthew Garza) and Charmed. His film credits include The Forgotten (2004), The International (2009), Man on a Ledge (2012) and Unfrosted (2024). He plays Jose in the 2025 Netflix miniseries Sirens.
With a background in theatre, Solis has received awards including the HOLA Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor (2013) and a Connecticut Critics Circle Award (2008). He has also directed stage productions and works as a producer.
