Biography

Florian Lukas is a German actor. Born on 16 March 1973 in East Berlin, he began performing in theatre while still at school and later appeared as a guest at the Berliner Ensemble and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.

He is known for his role as Denis in the 2003 film Good Bye, Lenin!, for which he received the German Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and a Bambi. Other film credits include Absolute Giganten (1999), North Face (2008) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014). He has also appeared regularly in television, including the series Tatort and The Weissensee Saga (2010–2018).
