Biography
Florian Reichmann is an Austrian production designer and art director. Born in Vienna on 9 May 1957, he studied architecture at the Technische Universität Wien and has worked as a freelance Szenenbildner since 1982.
He is credited as production designer on Before Sunrise (1995) and numerous Austrian and German film and television productions, including Poppitz (2002), La Bohème (2008) and Die Trapp Familie – Ein Leben für die Musik (2015). He has also served as art director on international projects such as Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) and Downhill (2020).
Reichmann is a board member of the Verband Österreichischer FilmausstatterInnen and a founding member of the Akademie des Österreichischen Films.
