Biography
Ford Beebe Jr. (1913–2006) was an American film director and assistant director. He worked on several Walt Disney productions in the late 1930s and early 1940s, serving as assistant director on Pinocchio (1940) and as a director of the 'Pastoral Symphony' segment of Fantasia (1940).
He also contributed as assistant director to The Reluctant Dragon (1941) and directed uncredited shorts including The Thrifty Pig (1941) and Donald's Decision (1942). Later credits include directing Wilderness Journey (1969) and DTV: Rock, Rhythm & Blues (1984), and field producing Charlie, the Lonesome Cougar (1967). He was the son of director Ford Beebe.
