Biography
Francis Xavier McCarthy (born 15 February 1942) is an American actor, often credited as Frank McCarthy. He has appeared in more than 100 television productions and numerous films since the early 1980s.
His film credits include Cutter's Way (1981), Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid (1982), Summer Rental (1985), Deep Impact (1998), BASEketball (1998), Imaginaerum (2012) and Interstellar (2014). On television he has had recurring roles in series such as St. Elsewhere, Melrose Place, The Practice, NYPD Blue and Motive, and guest appearances in ALF, Supernatural, Bates Motel, 9-1-1 and NCIS.
