Biography

Frank L. Fleming is a costume designer whose credits include Stranger Than Fiction (2006), August Rush (2007), Morning Glory (2010), Machine Gun Preacher (2011), Draft Day (2014), The Hate U Give (2018) and A Man Called Otto (2022). He has also designed costumes for the television series Power (2014–2020) across all six seasons, as well as Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and the first season of Power Book IV: Force, serving as producer on several of the spin-offs.

Fleming began in the industry through an internship at Spike Lee's Forty Acres & A Mule Filmworks, where he worked on Jungle Fever (1991) with costume designer Ruth Carter. He has collaborated repeatedly with director Marc Forster, starting with Monster's Ball (2001), and conducted research in the Afghan community for The Kite Runner (2007).
