Biography
Frankie Chan Fan-Kei is a Hong Kong composer, actor, director and producer. Born on 30 November 1951 in Hong Kong, he has worked extensively in Hong Kong cinema since the 1970s.
He is known as a composer, often collaborating with Roel A. Garcia. Their scores include Chungking Express (1994) and Fallen Angels (1995). As an actor he appeared in The Prodigal Son (1981) as Ngai Fei. He wrote the screenplay for Chinese Zodiac (2012).
Chan has also directed and produced films. He is married to actress Sheila Chan.
