Biography
Fred Einesman is a physician and television director, writer and producer. A Montreal native, he trained at McGill University Faculty of Medicine and completed a residency and fellowship in emergency medicine at UCLA. He also holds an MFA in film production from the University of Southern California.
Einesman served as medical supervisor on the series ER (1994) from 1995 to 2007 and directed one episode. He has directed episodes of 7th Heaven (1996) and worked as a writer, story editor and producer on Private Practice (2007) and Grey's Anatomy. He has provided medical advice on numerous films and television productions.
