Biography
Fredric M. Frank (9 July 1911 – 9 May 1977) was an American screenwriter. Born in New York City, he worked frequently with director Cecil B. DeMille on epic productions including Unconquered (1947), Samson and Delilah (1949), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) and The Ten Commandments (1956). He shared an Academy Award for Best Story for The Greatest Show on Earth.
Frank’s other feature credits include El Cid (1961). He also wrote episodes for television series such as Hazel (1965) and Sugarfoot (1958).
