Biography
Gabbie Asher is a British writer, creator and executive producer based in London. She previously worked as a script editor and development producer for BBC Drama and Comedy, and was Head Story Writer on EastEnders for two BAFTA-winning years.
Her writing credits include episodes of Primeval (2011), Call the Midwife (2014), Riviera (2019), The English Game (2020), Leonardo (2021), The Tattooist of Auschwitz (2024) and Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale (2024). She created and wrote the series Personal Affairs (2009) and The Revenge Club (2025).
Asher was lead writer and executive producer, and co-creator with Naomi Sheldon, on the Amazon Prime Video miniseries The Girlfriend (2025), adapted from the novel by Michelle Frances.
