Biography
Gabriel LaBelle is a Canadian actor. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, in September 2002, the son of producer and character actor Rob LaBelle.
LaBelle began acting as a child and made his screen debut in an episode of the Canadian series Motive (2013). He appeared in the films Dead Shack (2017) and The Predator (2018), as well as episodes of iZombie and Brand New Cherry Flavor. He studied at Concordia University.
LaBelle is best known for playing Sammy Fabelman in Steven Spielberg's The Fabelmans (2022), for which he received the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer. He later starred as Lorne Michaels in Saturday Night (2024), earning a Golden Globe nomination, and appeared in Snack Shack (2024) and the series American Gigolo (2022).
