Biography
Gabriela Rodríguez is a Venezuelan film producer based in London. She runs the production company Esperanto Filmoj and has collaborated extensively with director Alfonso Cuarón.
She began her career as an intern at Esperanto Filmoj before becoming Cuarón’s personal assistant. She later served as associate producer on Gravity (2013) and the short film Aningaaq (2013), and as producer on Roma (2018). She has also worked as executive producer on Raymond & Ray (2022) and producer on Le Pupille (2022).
For Roma, Rodríguez received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, becoming the first Latin American woman nominated in that category. She shared two BAFTA awards and a British Independent Film Award for the film.
