Biography
Gabrielle Carteris is an American actress and trade union leader. She is best known for portraying Andrea Zuckerman in the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1996), with guest appearances in later seasons.
Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Carteris graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. Her early career included roles in after-school specials, soap operas and other television work before her breakthrough on Beverly Hills, 90210.
In 2012 she was elected executive vice president of SAG-AFTRA. She later served as the union’s president from 2016 to 2021.
