Biography

Gareth Bryn is a Welsh television director. Born in 1978 in Pontypridd, he trained in performing arts at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (LIPA) before moving into directing.

He is known for his work on series including Line of Duty (2021), Karen Pirie (2022), Hinterland (2013), Hidden (2018) and Last Tango in Halifax (2020). Bryn won a Welsh BAFTA in 2006 and has received multiple further nominations.
