Biography
Gareth C. Scales is a film and television editor. Born in Southport, Merseyside, England, he was raised in Vancouver and studied film at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design before attending the Canadian Film Centre’s Editor’s Lab.
His credits include the feature films After Love (2020), The Courier (2020), Alice, Darling (2022) and Pillion (2025), as well as the television mini-series The Pursuit of Love (2021). He has received two Canadian Cinema Editors Awards and a nomination for Best Editing at the British Independent Film Awards for Pillion.
