Biography
Garland Testa is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 13 January 1973 in San Diego, California.
Testa began his career in the 1990s on live-action sitcoms, serving as story editor and writer on Roseanne (1988), with two episodes written in 1996. He later worked as executive story editor on Caroline in the City (1995).
He is best known for his long association with the animated series King of the Hill (1997), where he wrote 20 episodes between 1999 and 2005 and held producing roles including supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer across 74 episodes from 2000 to 2010. He received three Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on the series. He later served as consulting producer on Bob's Burgers (2011).
