Biography
Gary Anthony Williams is an American actor, comedian and filmmaker. Born on 14 March 1966 in Fayetteville, Georgia, he began his career in Atlanta theatre and improv, performing with the Georgia Shakespeare Festival and the Laughing Matters troupe before moving to Los Angeles in 1998.
He is known for his recurring role as Abe Kenarban in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006) and its 2026 revival Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair. Williams has appeared in series including Boston Legal and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, and voiced characters such as Uncle Ruckus in The Boondocks and roles in Rick and Morty and Invincible. He co-founded the L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival.
