Biography
Gary Martin is a British actor and voice actor. Born on 18 June 1958 in Ealing, London, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and made his West End debut in 1976 in Jesus Christ Superstar.
He appeared in further stage productions including The Rocky Horror Show, Little Shop of Horrors, Cats, Miss Saigon and Grease. From the 1980s he provided the voice of the Honey Monster for Sugar Puffs and in the 1990s focused increasingly on voice work.
Martin voiced Epideme in the Red Dwarf episode of the same name (1997). His other credits include additional voices in FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue (1998) and Minions (2015), and the role of Beast Man in Masters of the Universe (2026). He won a Talkie Award for portraying Judge Dredd in a BBC Radio 1 adaptation.
