Biography
Gennie Nevinson is a British-Australian actress, also credited as Jenny Nevinson. Born Rima J. C. Hoyes-Cock in London in 1951, she is the daughter of actress Nancy Nevinson. She studied drama and stage design at Sir George Williams University in Montreal and began her career in the UK, appearing on stage and in television series including Minder and The Professionals.
Nevinson moved to Australia in 1981. She is known for her role as Deidre Chambers in the 1994 film Muriel's Wedding, voicing a sheep in Babe (1995), and appearances in Australian television series such as Colin from Accounts (as Monica), The Twelve (as Margaret Brown), All Saints and Packed to the Rafters.
