Biography
Georgia Lester is a British screenwriter and producer. She began her career in the writers’ room for the E4 series Skins at the age of 18 and remained with the show for five years, writing four episodes including the series 6 finale.
Her other television credits include episodes of Hollyoaks, Youngers, Turn Up Charlie, Wolfe and Killing Eve. She was lead writer and executive producer on the 2024 BBC series Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story, which she also created. Lester trained with Hampstead Theatre’s Youth Theatre and completed the Royal Court Young Writers Programme. Her first feature script won the BAFTA Rocliffe Film Forum Competition in 2015.
