Biography

Gerry Scott, also known as Geraldine Mary Boldy and later Gerry Scott Foulds, was an English production designer. Born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, she studied art at Bradford College and Sunderland College in the late 1960s. She joined the BBC design department and worked on productions including Sykes, Porridge, Ripping Yarns and Blake's 7.

Scott became known for her work on historical television dramas. Her credits include Middlemarch (1994), Pride and Prejudice (1995), Wives and Daughters (1999), The Way We Live Now (2001) and He Knew He Was Right (2004). She won two British Academy Television Craft Awards, for Wives and Daughters in 2000 and The Way We Live Now in 2002. She died in London in 2007.
