Biography
Gert Andersen was a Danish-born cinematographer. Born on 1 January 1907 in Copenhagen, he died on 26 December 1982 in Los Angeles, California.
Andersen began his career in the 1930s as an assistant camera operator on films including The Black Room (1935) and later worked as camera operator on All the King's Men (1949). He became a director of photography on numerous television series from the 1950s onwards, including The Donna Reed Show, Hazel, Gidget and Mission: Impossible (1966–1969). His longest-running credit was as director of photography on Mannix (1967–1975).
