Biography
Gill Isles is a British television comedy producer. She was born in Castleford, West Yorkshire, and studied media production at Bournemouth University after attending NEW College, Pontefract. She began her career at BBC Radio Leeds before moving into television comedy production.
Isles has produced series including Ideal (2005–2011), Peter Kay's Car Share (2015–2018), Detectorists (2014–2022), Man Like Mobeen (2017–2025), Alma's Not Normal (2020–2024) and Small Prophets (2026). She has won two BAFTA awards and received National Television Awards and a Rose d'Or for her work.
