Biography
Gordon Oliver (27 April 1910 – 26 January 1995) was an American actor and film producer. He appeared in more than 40 films and television shows between 1933 and 1972. His film roles included Dick Allen in Jezebel (1938), the Marine Officer Seeking Room in Since You Went Away (1944), Steve Warren in The Spiral Staircase (1946) and an uncredited lawyer in Born to Be Bad (1950).
Oliver began working in films in the mid-1930s and appeared in productions for Warner Bros., Columbia and RKO. He later worked as an executive producer on television series including It Takes a Thief, Peter Gunn and Mr. Lucky, and co-hosted anthology programmes such as Mobil Theatre and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Presents.
