Biography
Grace Alie is a production designer and art director. She has worked on features, television series and shorts, with credits including art direction on Short Term 12 (2013) and production design on Lemon (2017), Miss Virginia (2019), The Nowhere Inn (2020), PEN15 (2019–2021) and The Chair (2021).
Originally from Chicago, Alie graduated from the Art Institute of Portland and is based in Los Angeles. Her production design on the Hulu series PEN15 recreated early-2000s junior-high settings, drawing on her own memories and those of the creative team.
Additional credits include production design on Self Reliance (2023) and various comedy specials and pilots.
