Biography
Grant O'Rourke is a Scottish actor. He is known for his role as Rupert MacKenzie in the television series Outlander (2014–2025) and as Jamie Narey in Shetland (2013–2022). Other television credits include Oliver Forbes in Annika (2021) and Dave in How Not to Live Your Life (2008).
In film, O'Rourke played Sandy in the 2026 comedy The Incomer, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He has also appeared in shorts and features including Neville is Dead (2020), which he co-wrote, and Crying with Laughter (2009). His work spans stage and screen, with credits in Scottish theatre productions.
