Biography

Greg Davies is a British comedian, actor, presenter and writer. He is best known for playing Mr Gilbert in the E4 sitcom The Inbetweeners (2008–2010) and its two feature films, The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014).

Davies trained as a drama teacher and taught secondary school drama and English for 13 years before turning to comedy. He created and starred in the Channel 4 sitcom Man Down (2013–2017) and has hosted the comedy panel show Taskmaster since 2015. He received a BAFTA nomination for his role in Cuckoo (2012–2019).
