Biography

Gregg Fonseca was an American production designer and art director. Born on 23 July 1952, he worked on numerous feature films from the mid-1980s until his death on 20 July 1994.

His production design credits include A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Critters (1986), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989), Wayne's World (1992), Wayne's World 2 (1993) and Striking Distance (1993). He also contributed as art director on earlier projects such as House (1985) and A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985).

Fonseca collaborated with director Wes Craven on the first A Nightmare on Elm Street film. Craven dedicated Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) to him following his death during the film's post-production.
