Biography
Gregory Zaragoza is an American actor. Born in San Jose, California, he has appeared in film and television since the 1980s, with early credits including Scar in the miniseries North and South (1985) and Joseph in Law & Order (1990). He played the Abenaki Chief in The Last of the Mohicans (1992) and later guest-starred as Red Bear in Yellowstone (2018), Med Hat in Tulsa King (2022 and 2024), and Hollis Green in Stumptown (2019–2020).
Zaragoza has also worked in theatre, appearing on Broadway as Chief Sitting Bull in the 1999 revival of Annie Get Your Gun and as the Apparition in a 1988 production of Macbeth. He is the father of actors Danielle Zaragoza, Raye Zaragoza and Román Zaragoza. In 2026 he appeared as a Council Member in the series Marshals.
