Biography
Gustav Danielsson is a Swedish cinematographer and director. He studied architecture at Chalmers University of Technology before training in film directing at IHTV in Gothenburg. He is based in Stockholm and works internationally in film and television.
His cinematography credits include Roy Andersson’s You, the Living (2007), for which he received a Guldbagge Award nomination, Kill Your Friends (2015), The Gamechangers (2015), and several episodes of the anthology series Black Mirror (2013–2019), including the Emmy-winning San Junipero. He served as director of photography on the HBO series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026). Danielsson has also directed short films such as The Twin (2011).
