Biography
Halley Wegryn Gross, also credited as Halley Gross, is an American screenwriter, producer and former actress. She studied at New York University, earning an undergraduate degree from the Gallatin School in 2008 and a master's in dramatic writing from the Tisch School of the Arts in 2010.
Gross began her career with acting roles in television series including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and films such as Across the Universe (2007). She later focused on writing, contributing episodes to Banshee (2015) and Westworld (2016). She co-wrote the video game The Last of Us Part II (2020) with Neil Druckmann and has written for the HBO series The Last of Us (2023), serving as co-executive producer on later seasons. Her other credits include Too Old to Die Young (2019) and Batman: Caped Crusader (2024). She has received Writers Guild of America awards and game writing accolades.
