Biography
Hanno Pöschl is an Austrian actor born on 2 July 1949 in Vienna. He trained at the Lamert-Offer drama school after completing an apprenticeship as a pastry cook.
Pöschl has appeared in films including Querelle (1982), The Living Daylights (1987) and Before Sunrise (1995), in which he played the Husband on Train. His television credits include roles in Inspector Rex (as Franz Karasek) and Medicopter 117 – Jedes Leben zählt (as Mechaniker Max). He has worked with directors such as Maximilian Schell, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Richard Linklater and Götz Spielmann, and has performed in theatrical productions at Vienna's Burgtheater.
Pöschl has operated the Kleines Café in Vienna since 1976 and was previously involved in running a restaurant there.
