Biography
Harold Livingston (1924–2022) was an American screenwriter and novelist. He wrote multiple episodes of the television series Mission: Impossible (1966), receiving writer and teleplay credits.
Livingston received sole screenplay credit for Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979). He also contributed stories and teleplays to series including The Six Million Dollar Man (1974), Fantasy Island (1978) and Future Cop (1976). Earlier in his career he published several novels.
