Harriet Thorpe is an English actress. Born on 8 June 1957 in Hampstead, London, she trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

She is known for television roles including Carole in The Brittas Empire (1991–1997) and Fleur in Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2012). Film credits include the Customer in Mike Leigh's Life Is Sweet (1991), Brenda Mooney in Calendar Girls (2003) and appearances in Maurice (1987) and The Lady in the Van (2015). Stage work encompasses West End musicals such as Wicked (2008) and Mamma Mia! (2010). In 2023 she took over the role of Elaine Peacock in the BBC soap EastEnders.

Thorpe is the daughter of writer Gillian Freeman and actor-writer Edward Thorpe, and the sister of actress Matilda Thorpe.
